Please note that the annual meeting packet which was sent to you is missing the ballot form for you to cast your vote. Unlike with the previous mailing, we can pinpoint the cause of this to an unfortunate error on CMA’s part while uploading the forms to the mailer’s website. The ballot was left out unintentionally and we apologize for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused.
Given the circumstances, and the previous delays, we will be moving forward with the meeting on Saturday, August 1st. Attached to this email is a ballot form for your use. These may be returned to the CMA office through mail, email, fax or hand delivery. In addition, we will have ballots available for your use at the Annual Meeting on Saturday. It has come to the attention of the Board that an unfortunate prank was carried out by some homeowners in our community. An invalid candidate form was deliberately submitted, naming an individual not desiring a position on the Board of Directors. Regrettably, this creates a situation in which homeowners may attempt to vote for this individual, thus causing their vote to be wasted. This is not fair to the homeowners in the community, and creates an election scenario that may prevent every owner an equal opportunity to effectively cast their vote. We do not want to risk having an election which could be construed as “illegal” or “invalid.” As there have been comments made regarding previous meetings being held in opposition to the bylaws, we want to ensure this meeting is fair to all owners, and to the candidates. We have received our new pool signs! The Association Manager will be on property tomorrow, July 3rd to install signs at the entrances. This means we will be able to open on Saturday, July 4th. We are excited to be moving forward to this next step. Click Full Story for more information.

We wanted to reach out to you in regards to the pool opening for 2020. Some of you have reached out asking for an update and we apologize for the delay. Please know that we are working as fast as possible to open the pool. Currently we have signs on order and are waiting for them to be delivered so we can install them at the pool area. We will send additional updates on the opening date as soon as possible.
We also have a waiver form which was approved by the Association Attorney for you to fill out and sign. These waiver forms are releasing the Association from any liability towards to the pool area with regards to COVID-19. Please fill one out for you and your family at your earliest convenience and send back to the Association manager. These forms are required to be filled out if you plan to use the pool. Your HOA has received thoughtful inquiries regarding a community way to relieve some of the stress of these difficult times. It’s been decided to “relax” the rules a bit to permit those residents who would like to do so, an opportunity to display reasonable “patriotic” type home decorations as a demonstration of mutual support, and to show our resolve as a nation to get through the current crisis.
It is believed that neighborhood displays along the lines of our last “4th of July” holiday, might be an ideal way to both “calm nerves,” as well as to promote some family-oriented activities to pass the time, while having to remain confined in our homes. Please note that we are not condoning the installation of Holiday Lights at this time.
Please feel free to find ways to put your “American Spirit” on display, with items you already have at home, as all of us weather the current storm…together! Stay home if you can and stay safe.
